North Maine Fire Protection District

“The North Maine Fire Protection District was established in 1969 to provide emergency services to unincorporated Cook County in Maine Township. The staffing of the District is twenty-23 full-time members; 21 full-time professional firefighter/paramedics. Each shift has a shift commander- the district chief, a lieutenant,  and five firefighter/paramedics. They provide for the safety  of our community twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Additionally, the  administrative staff, of the fire chief and the fire prevention bureau fire marshal. The bureau consist of additional part-time fire inspector’s.

We are dedicated to work together as a unified team to keep all our community residents safe from the perils of fire and any other events that pose a risk to their lives, their property, and the environment.”
